Off to Atlanta to see Kelsey!
My niece Kelsey was running in a track meet for her college (Loras) in Atlanta. We hardly ever get to see her so we decided to make a little road trip and go watch her run. It was great to see her and it was an added bonus it was her birthday too. It was a quick visit but it was worth every minute. Hopefully, we will see her this summer too. We love you Kelsey and are so proud of you. GO LORAS!!!!!!!
Special Moments with Aunt Kimmie!
The boys love nothing more than spending time with their Aunt Kimmie. She spoils them like crazy. One of their favorite things to do when she is here is be "little bakers". They each made their own cookie cake and then decorated it for Easter. (Just ignore the Christmas jammies worn by Cameron and my Valentine's table cloth in all the pics-- We are just making up for all kinds of holidays we miss with Kimmie)! LOL We enjoyed every minute she was here. Thanks again Kimmie! We love you.
Brandon's 1st Birthday!!! March 11, 2009
I can't believe it....My baby is ONE today! Where does the time go? We had a small celebration just the six of us and Aunt Kimmie. My sister had flown in the day before and the boys were so surprised to see her. I put her to work and she made little man's first b-day cake. He loved it too! He started out just licking the icing off his finger but after awhile he DUG into it. The pictures of him crying were when we tried to take it away from him. Needless to say, we gave it back to him and let him have fun with it. Afterall, your only ONE once. He was spoiled rotten with presents from friends and family....Thank you all!

Brandon Got Tubes in his Ears Today!
This morning we had to be at Children's South at 6:15 for Brandon's surgery. Everything went well. He did have ANOTHER double ear infection after completing an antibiotic on February 19th for a previous double ear infection. Dr. Wiatrak said little man's ears were "nasty and filled with pus". It's a good thing he got the tubes! We were home by 8:30 and he's still sound asleep! We are praying that this will be the magic answer for him. He's always such a happy baby even when he is sick!
Snow in Alabama! WOW!
We woke up to a white dusting of snow, that by early afternoon had turned into almost 4 inches! This is the most snow in Alabama in almost 12 years. We had so much fun. We had a nice snowball fight with our neighbors and then made us a little snowman too. Brandon wasn't too keen on the winter wardrobe I had on him so he didn't last but maybe 10 minutes in the cold. I still had to have him in the pic! :)
